Goal: This course is designed to acquaint participants with all the Project Management Institute (PMI)
® processes, people, and business related skills for managing projects, in compliance with the
contents of “A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide), Project
Management Institute, Inc.″ (the primary source of knowledge and information to get through the
certification exam) and the “Agile Practice Guide”.
It also provides the students with additional knowledge not directly covered in the PMBOK Guide, but
required for passing the PMP® exam, e.g. Ethics and Professional Responsibility.
Objectives:
The Main tasks in the three key performance domains of managing a project, People, Process, and
Business Environment are analyzed according to the PMBOK Guide and the “PMP Examination
Content Outline”. Information targeted at passing the PMP® Exam is provided along the session.
The course is divided into 5 modules:
- People Domain Part I: Creating a High-Performing Team
- Process Domain Part I: Starting the Project
- Process Domain Part II: Doing the Work
- People Domain Part II: Keeping the Team on Track
- Business Domain: Keeping the Business in Mind
