A “certified” path for learning to use and program robots
The Robotics Licence is a learning path via which secondary school students can become expert in robotics while still at school, and start to experience the world of industry.
This unique opportunity allows young people to acquire a valuable and internationally recognised certificate in robotics to present to potential employers.
What does Robotics Licenses offer?
The e.DO Robotics Licence course offers two levels of certification: Use and Programming and Fieldbus and I/O Communication. Both are equivalent to the certification issued to companies and professionals and are immediately valid for the world of employment.
Students follow courses of between 60 and 100 hours (recognised for the School-Work Alternation scheme of Italy’s Ministry of Education, Universities and Research). Courses are divided into online and conventional classroom units. The final examination and subsequent certification are managed by a special Comau-certified training center.
e.DO Robotics Licenses learning paths include:
- an online training path available on the Comau Web Academy’s LMS platform, with multimedia material, simulations and exercises
- a final examination (written and practical parts)
- final certification issued by a qualified centre
- a specialist training course for teachers. A Technology Kit is also available to schools and training institutes wishing to recreate a realistic work environment on their own premises.
