On November 5-6th, at the Future Battery Forum 2024 held in Berlin (booth G07), Comau presented its innovative e-mobility portfolio, covering at different scale levels manufacturing processes for BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) from cell manufacturing, pack assembly to dismantling and recycling. As one of the top networking forums the Berlin-based battery forum is aimed to unite important decision makers from the entire battery value system. During the 2-days event Comau, a pioneer in advanced battery manufacturing solutions, highlighted its end-to-end electrification portfolio offer and showcased the work that has been done for some of the world’s most important automotive OEMs.
One of the early movers in the electrification arena, Comau’s groundbreaking products and technologies span the electrification value chain and are being used by Customers throughout Europe and around the world. Leveraging over 50 years of industrial automation experience, Comau’s vast portfolio of products, processes, and technologies for electrification enables the company to manage everything from – laboratory and pre-production to mass production. The Berlin conference, now in its fifth edition, was part of a busy agenda dedicated to e-Mobility and batteries, in particular. The tour included Battery Show both in Stuttgart (Germany), and Greater Noida (India), and the Batteries Event in Lyon (France) as well as speeches given by Gian Carlo Tronzano, Comau’s Head of Battery Cell Global Competence Center and of P&E e-Mobility, at the Battery Innovation Days conference in Barcellona (Spain).
Comau’s long-standing support for the industry is further reinforced at a European level through major partnerships for the development and expansion of the European battery industry, including the company’s participation in European Battery Alliance (EBA), Batteries European Partnership Association (BEPA), within which Gian Carlo Tronzano is an Executive Board Member, Upcell – European Battery Manufacturing Alliance, and the Ensemble consortium. Comau’s Gian Carlo Tronzano also participates in the European Technology & Innovation Platform (ETIP) for batteries.
