On October 21st, Zhu Jiangming, CEO Founder, Chairman & CEO of Leapmotor, led a senior management team to visit Comau’s headquarters in Italy. The two companies engaged in in-depth discussions on global expansion, local manufacturing, and potential technological collaboration, aiming to explore new strategies for Leapmotor’s global operations. The delegation was welcomed by Pietro Ottavis, Extended Europe Country Cluster Leader, Andrew Lloyd, Chief Engineering Officer, Manavello Marco, Chief Industrial Operations Officer, and Jeff Yuan, APAC Countries Cluster Leader, who all participated in the meeting.
During the talks, both sides shared perspectives on Leapmotor’s international market ambitions, technological innovation, and potential areas for partnership. Comau outlined its global operations, state-of-the-art solutions, and achievements in electrification. Pietro Ottavis emphasized Comau’s leadership in body-in-white and e-mobility automation systems and products and its proven success in executing multi-regional projects.
