PMP® Certification

The value of a PMP® (Project Management Professional) certification, bestowed by the Project Management Institute (PMI)®, extends beyond knowledge and skills development.       
The globally recognized PMP®credential demonstrates to employers, clients and collegues that a Project manager possesses Project Management knowledge, experience and skills to bring projects to successful completion.
 
Duration: 6 days (divided into 2 modules)
 
Credits: 42 PDU’s (Professional Development Units) or contact hours
 
Goal: This course is designed to acquaint students with all the Project Management Institute (PMI)® processes, their inputs, tools, techniques, outputs, in compliance with the contents of "A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) – Fifth Edition, Project Management Institute, Inc., 2013" (the primary source of knowledge and information to get through the certification exam).
 
It also provides the student with additional knowledge not directly covered in the "A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) – Fifth Edition, Project Management Institute, Inc., 2013" but required for passing the PMP® exam (e.g., Human Resources, Quality Theories, Ethics and Professional Responsibility).
 
Objectives:
Each "A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) – Fifth Edition, Project Management Institute, Inc., 2013" Knowledge Area is analyzed. Information targeted at passing the PMP® Exam is provided along with discussion.
 
The course is divided into 2 modules:

  • Module A (duration 3 days)
  • Module B (duration 3 days)
